The Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) will be offering annual flu vaccination clinics this fall throughout Johnson County. Please refer to our clinic schedule to find a location near you. The flu vaccine can help everyone reduce the chance of a severe influenza illness. Annual vaccination is especially recommended for all of the following: · Everyone ages 50 years and older, with and without chronic health conditions. · Pregnant women · Children 6 month to 59 months. · Everyone aged 5 to 49 years with chronic health conditions. · Household contacts and our-of-home caregivers of the above · Health-care personnel · Essential community service personnel. Medicare B (Medical) payment accepted. VNA will also bill Blue Cross and Medicare Replacement Policies. Bring you Medicare or Insurance card. Cash/Check price for vaccination: $24 for flu vaccine shot, $31 for FluMist Nasal Spray (as available), and $40 for pneumonia.
